Greetings And Hallucinations!

Ok. So I know I've been gone a long while! I even had a couple people send me a note to see if I was still alive! I am! :lmao:

So, y'all know that I had physical therapy done for my shoulder and was waiting for the insurance to cover the MRI. Well after receiving the MRI order in June, it only took the insurance 8 months to finally okay it! Oi. So in February, I had the MRI and guess what?! A protruding, bulging disc on my C5-C6 vertebrae and that's what's causing the damn pain. Apparently when I had an MRI in 2015, it was a mild protruding, bulging disc and now it's severe. I have to see a Neurosurgeon b/c it's so severe!

Mom has to have surgery on her foot b/c it's just bone grinding against bone and extremely painful. So after she has her surgery, I get to see the Neurosurgeon and a Pulmonologist! A few days after Xmas, I started not feeling good and I couldn't stop coughing. Turns out my cousin that I saw at Xmas had a severe Bronchial infection that I got. When I saw the doc, she said it was pretty close to Pneumonia or Pertussis aka Whooping Cough. I visited the ER a couple of times b/c of the coughing and b/c my ribs were hurting so badly! I'm now just feeling better and back to writing, but I couldn't bring myself to do anything, feeling so shitty.

My doc had given me some Tylenol 3 to help with the pain for the cough and my shoulder. (For those of you who don't know, Tylenol 3 is Tylenol with Codeine) I asked for a refill of the T3 and was told I needed to be seen. My regular doc was unavailable so I saw her associate. Never again will I see this woman!

She comes in and doesn't even greet me, which I'll let slide, and says 'So-So gave you that for a cough so you shouldn't need it anymore.' I don't even think she read my chart b/c when I tried to explain that yes, she gave it to me for a cough but also my shoulder, she didn't even acknowledge that. I told her about my rib pain and she suggested an X-Ray of my ribs, which I had in the ER. She basically treated me like I was a junkie trying to get my fix! At the end, the nurse comes back in and gives me the appt summary and a paper on shoulder pain. Like ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! That's not going to do diddly squat for a bulging disc! She was an absolute bitch and I will never deal with her again.

So it's been a roller coaster of crap that's been going on this year so far! On March 6th, we had to put Kazi, our Dachshund, down. One freakin day before her 17th birthday too! It really sucked! I miss her like crazy too! Loki, the Papillion, still isn't quite herself. She just turned 12 on March 20th. Then, my bro-in-law's niece was in a serious car accident and she didn't make it. She was 28. They think she had a seizure and hit a pole. Like I said, a whole fustercluck of hell this year.

Anyways, I hope everyone else is ok! I missed you guys! I'm working on my writing again and have several WIPs at the moment. I'm also gonna try to upload more finished stories on here soon. Also, thank all of you for the llamas and the favorites and follows! I'm gonna try to answer all of you individually, but if I don't, thank you so much!

So for those of you who have read my previous journals, I completed physical therapy, which sucked. So the insurance has to pay for the MRI! I kept my end of the bargain, so they have to keep their's. I'm sore, I hurt and nothing helps but the meds. Its been a very shitty two and a half months and I'll be honest, my thoughts aren't very happy as of late.

I've been trying to keep up with all the deviations and notifications so a major thanks to all who faved my works, gave me llamas and whatever else. You guys rock!

My apologies for slacking on here lately. Things with my back have escalated greatly. Turns out it’s not a pinched nerve but a muscle spasm caused by disc degeneration of  the C5 and C6 vertebre in my back. Lifting the AC unit just made it worse.I left work early and went to the ER last week Thursday b/c the pain shot up the back of my neck. It felt like someone was trying to rip my head off. They took some x-rays and gave me Flexeril (muscle relaxant), a shot for muscle spasms and some Naproxen.

The pain has been bearable taking the Naproxen, Flexeril and Hydrocodone together. I think Physical Therapy makes it worse. So I have only one more session left of that! Then the insurance has to give me the MRI! PT didn’t make a difference! I almost broke down at work b/c the pain was so intense, it was like a 20 on the pain scale! I have a high pain tolerance but this is too much.

Once mom picked me up from work, I did break down in tears. I’m so sick of this. Over two months of this pain is unreal.

I’m sorry for bothering y’all with this. I just wanted to let you know so you didn’t think I was ignoring your deviations and journals.
