Literature Text

I'm drowning in my thoughts
Like a sailor lost at sea
No anchor to hold me down
To ground me to this world

Nothing but a black abyss
To greet me in my mind
Filled with horrid thoughts
And demented dreams

Sadness and despair mixed
With loneliness and longing
Its a volatile cocktail
Ready to explode

I wish for peace
My mind to be silent
To stop screaming its words
And just be still.

And here I thought I was done with depressing poems. Apparently Edgar thinks differently. Not sure how I feel about this one but I couldn't sleep until I wrote it down. Hope you minions enjoy! :evillaugh:

I absolutely love this. I can relate to every single word. Very well written.
